Am 15.10.2011, 14 Uhr wurde die Bevölkerung zu einer Ortsbegehung auf das Gelände des ehemaligen Straßenbahnbetriebshofes in Gostenhof/Nürnberg eingeladen. Zugang zum Gelände war für die Anwohner über die Fürther Straße möglich.

On October 15, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the population was invited to a local inspection of the site of the former tram depot in Gostenhof/Nuremberg. Access to the site was possible for residents via Fürther Staße.

Bestandteile:

Acht Reiterinnen führten ihre acht Haflingerstuten, die auf unterschiedliche Befehle wie
»aus dem Zirkel wechseln« oder »aus der Ecke kehrt« reagierten. Ihre Hufe hinterließen Abdrücke, eine Zeichnung, im Sand der Stadtbrache. Die Aktion wurde sowohl von einer Kamera aus der Vogelperspektive einer Hebebühne, als auch von einer Kamera aus einem der Nachbarhäuser aufgenommen.

realisation

Eight rideresses led their eight Haflinger mares, responding to various commands such as »change in the circle« or »touched out of the corner.« Their hooves left prints, a drawing in the the sand of the city ruin. The action was captured from above by a drone-style camera on a hydaulic platform and a second camera positioned in one of the neighboring houses.

Thema

Örtlichen Verknüpfung nahegelegener Bildungseinrichtungen. Inszenierte Zusammenarbeit junger kreativer Menschen mit dem Ziel, den Beginn und das möglichst erfolgreiche Ende einer Bildungsschleife aufzuzeigen. Das eindringliche Erlebnis der Kooperationen von Förder- und Grundschulklasse sowie die Begegnung mit den Designstudierenden sollte den Grundschulkindern helfen, sich mittels eines wachsenden Selbstbewusstseins ihrer eigenen künstlerischen Fähigkeiten und Potenziale für mögliche kreative Perspektiven in der Zukunft zu öffnen.

Local linkage of nearby educational institutions. Staged collaboration of young creative people with the aim of illustrating the beginning and the as-successful-as-possible end of an educational loop. The immersive experience of collaborations between kindergarten and primary school classes and the encounter with design students should help elementary school children open up to their own artistic abilities and potentials for possible creative perspectives in the future through growing self-confidence.
