Text- und Bildportr\u00e4ts von Frauen im N\u00fcrnberger Stadtteil St. Leonhard. Zehn Frauen wurden
\ninterviewt und fotografiert. Ziel war es, durch gro\u00dfformatige Formate von Frauenportr\u00e4ts das Leben von Frauen im Alltag im Stadtteil sichtbar zu machen. Es entstand das Magazin \u201eBrenn- blatt\u201c und eine Ausstellung.<\/p>\n
Text and image portraits of women in the Nuremberg district of St. Leonhard. Ten women were interviewed and photographed. The goal was to make the daily lives of women in the neigh borhood visible through large-format portraits of women. The magazine \u201aBrenn-blatt\u2018 and an exhibition were created.<\/p>\n

Das k\u00fcnstlerische Projekt \u00bbUrtica Dioica\u00ab verbindet die Gro\u00dfe Brennnessel als Symbol f\u00fcr Wehrhaftigkeit, Verwurzelung, Kraft und Heilung im Stadtteil. Die Publikation, eine Zeitung im \u00bbBerliner Format\u00ab, zeigt Frauen mit gro\u00dfformatigen Foto-Portr\u00e4ts und ihren Lebensgeschich
\nten. Eine soziale Skulptur, ein Netzwerk \u2013 ein Versuch, mit Sprache, Bild und Intuition sichtbar zu machen, was oft im Verborgenen liegt.<\/p>\n
The artistic project \u201cUrtica Dioica\u201d connects the greater nettle as a symbol of resilience, rootedness, strength, and healing within the neighborhood. The publication, a newspaper in \u00bbBerliner format\u00ab, features women with large-format photo portraits and their life stories. It\u2019s a social sculpture, a network\u2014an attempt to make visible, through language, image, and intuition, what is often hidden.<\/p>\n
